Satnam Singh Talwar - Partner

Satnam is a Partner and Senior Solicitor with 12 years post qualification experience in litigation and 17 years pre-post qualification in total. Satnam began working in the litigation arena since 1999 when he was a paralegal at the litigation department of (what was then) Brass Ingram Conway Solicitors. Today, Satnam is the head of litigation at Milestones Solicitors and deals with a wide range of high value and complex litigation matters.
Satnam’s experience in professional negligence, property litigation, and civil litigation stems from working as a solicitor at Lyons Davidson and Colemans-CTTS based in Surrey over a 9-year period. Satnam was part of a team of panel solicitor for a large number of insurers including Direct Line and the Co-operative.

Since then Satnam branched out on his own at various practices including on his own account in Canary Wharf. On his own account, Satnam began working on commercial litigation and personal injury including medical negligence.
Satnam is hard working and dedicated to providing the best possible results and service levels to his clients. He works predominantly on a no win no fee basis and aims to go the extra mile to exceed expectations. He works with a number of barristers to provide a superior quality of advice.
Satnam is bilingual – he speaks fluent Punjabi.

Uma Devi Rajasundram - Managing Partner

Uma Devi Rajasundram is the founding Director of Milestone Solicitors Limited specialising in Immigration and Asylum Law. She is a Solicitor and qualified under the Law Society’s Immigration & Asylum Accreditation Scheme as a Level 2 Senior Caseworker and Supervisor.
She has extensive experience in the field of immigration, nationality, and asylum law and boasts a high success rate in her immigration applications and appeals including and not limited to Article 8 applications, Judicial Review applications, Points Based applications and appeals, business immigration, asylum, entry clearance applications and appeals, bail and deportation. Uma Devi Rajasundram specialises in LGBT asylum claims and has achieved highly successful outcomes. She is renowned for her empathetic and sympathetic approach to clients.
Uma Devi Rajasundram was admitted to the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2002 and was called to the Bar in 2003. She was also admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2004. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in June 2010. She has worked in various commercial fields over the last 18 years before commencing legal practice. Prior to founding Milestone Solicitors Limited, she was the Head of Immigration for a firm as a City Law firm renowned for dealing with private and legal aid clients.
Uma is also fluent in Tamil and Malay languages.

Ibrahima Diarra - Immigration Consultant

Ibrahima Diarra LLM is an experienced and international Human Rights advocate with particular expertise in matters stemming from West Africa and within the European Union.

Ibrahima is well known for his Administrative and Public law knowledge, including challenges to immigration detention, Administrative Removal and Deportation and ‘Clearly Unfounded’ certification of human rights and protection claims. He has a comprehensive and extensive understanding in Judicial Review proceedings within an immigration context and often holds the Home Office to account in their decision-making process particularly where there has been a breach of policy and legitimate expectation.

Ibrahima’s expertise further also includes a particular focus on Human Rights, Asylum and EU Free Movement matters but is also known to advise Employers on their obligations under the Points Based System. He is held in high esteem with senior Barristers who work alongside with him on instructed matters and earns significant praise from his peers and clients where he is instructed in complex and highly sensitive Human Rights matters.

Ferwah Rehan - Solicitor

Ferwah Rehan is regularly instructed on Human Rights and Asylum matters with her particular expertise in cases stemming from South East Asia. She demonstrates significant proficiency handling asylum claims especially on those matters relating to Vulnerable Clients facing persecution.

Ferwah is adept in her handling of complex international human rights, asylum and EU free movement cases. Her wider knowledge of LGBT and Religious persecution has also seen her engaged in a range of cases.

She is also registered as a Level Two Accredited Caseworker and Immigration Supervisor under the Law Society Immigration & Asylum Scheme.
Ferwah is also fluent in Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi.



Renas Muhammed - Solicitor

Renas Muhammed is presently a Paralegal working in the Immigration, Asylum and Conveyancing departments.

Renas completed the Legal Practice Course in 2014 at The University of Law. She has also obtained a 2.1 LLB (Hons.) Law degree in 2012.

Renas predominantly assists the senior staff in our Immigration department by handling matters of appeals, points-based system applications, entry clearance and asylum applications.

She is particularly interested in aiding those who attempt to flee war zones, in search of a safe haven, or those fleeing political persecution in countries such as Iraq, Syria, Iran and Palestine.
